2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create, store, and manage your CV and professional profile.
  • To authenticate your identity and maintain the security of your account.
  • To generate PDF exports and public CV pages based on your data.
  • To improve our platform, fix bugs, and develop new features.
  • To communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256 encryption.

We implement industry-standard security measures including nonce-based Content Security Policies, secure HTTP headers, and server-side session management to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

4. CV Data & Visibility

You have full control over the visibility of your CV data:

  • Private CVs: By default, your CVs are private and accessible only to you.
  • Public CVs: You may choose to publish a CV with a public link. Only the information you include in that CV will be visible to others.
  • You can change the visibility of your CVs or delete them entirely at any time from your dashboard.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session and ensure the platform functions correctly. These cookies are strictly necessary and cannot be opted out of while using the service.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell your data to any third parties.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: You can view all the data you have provided at any time through your dashboard.
  • Correction: You can edit or update your information at any time using the CV wizard or your profile settings.
  • Export: You can export your CV data as a PDF document.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual CVs or request complete account deletion by contacting us. Upon deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

  • Supabase: For authentication, database, and file storage. Supabase processes your data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
  • TikTok API: We may integrate with the TikTok API for internal content analytics purposes. See Section 8 for details on how TikTok data is handled.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.

8. TikTok API Data

myportfolio.ba uses the TikTok API for internal content analytics and management. When TikTok API integration is active, we may access the following data from TikTok:

  • Account metrics: Follower count, total likes, and video count associated with the authorized TikTok account.
  • Video performance data: View counts, like counts, comment counts, share counts, and video metadata for videos published on the authorized account.
  • Public comments: Publicly visible comments on videos belonging to the authorized account.

This data is:

  • Used solely for internal analytics and content strategy purposes.
  • Stored locally or in secured internal systems and never sold or shared with third parties.
  • Retained only as long as necessary for operational purposes and deleted upon request.
  • Accessible only to authorized personnel operating the myportfolio.ba platform.

Our use of TikTok API data complies with the TikTok API Terms of Service and TikTok Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws.
